International Collaboration
International collaboration and mobility are important aspects of vocational education and training. Collaborating with educational institutions and industry partners helps strengthen our ability to operate in a global environment.
At Saimaa Vocational College Sampo, we actively encourage both students and staff to participate in international mobility programs. A mobility period abroad enhances students’ language skills and deepens their understanding of different cultures. Each year, 40-60 of our students travel abroad for international learning experiences, while we welcome approximately 40 students from our partner institutions.
Local but global
Our international partnerships via Erasmus+ mobility programs include Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. In addition, some of our education sectors may have international partnerships, that are specific to their field. These include, for example, Czech Republic, Malta and Slovenia.
