Time to get prepared

Preparatory education

Saimaa Vocational College Sampo offers preparatory education for vocational education and training (TUVA). Studying at TUVA starts with the preparation of an individual personal skills development plan (HOKS), in which you choose the parts of your education you want to study. The aim is to identify your own interests for further study and to explore them both at school and in working life. During your studies, you will receive plenty of support to help you find your way forward.

To make it easier for you to get the place you want, you can increase your basic education grades during TUVA. People from a migrant background can also strengthen the language skills needed for their studies in their own S2 study groups. Strengthening your everyday life skills will support you in your future life.
