Saimaa Vocational College Sampo is well known for being a regional developer with versatile expertise, competence and extensive projects operations. Our development projects aim at furthering Sampo’s success in education and training as well as the regional economic development.
Furthermore, the projects attempt to advance the competitiveness and competence of the private and the public sector, and the availability of professional workers in the region. Sampo’s projects involve active collaboration with other educational institutions and working life.
The Objectives of Project Operations
The objectives of Sampo’s project operations are
- to develop new operations models and methods for smooth, flexible and equal implementation of vocational education
- to produce new pedagogical solutions, means and material for teaching and learning
- to create excellent conditions for versatile and modern learning by developing physical and online learning environments and tools
- to support learning and diversification of learning environments by integrating teaching and working life information
- to develop and increase knowledge and skills at work places by implementing cooperation projects with work places
- to strengthen personnel’s pedagogical and working life based knowledge
