Team learning
At Sampo, team learning is our goal and a part of our everyday operations in many areas. The core of Sampo’s team culture is collaboration, appreciation, trust and empowerment. This culture creates the basis for a team-learning organization.
At Sampo, the team is a learning and organizational tool for our staff and students. The basic idea of teamwork is that a group of people commit themselves to common goals and use the resources of the team to achieve these goals. Two of our training areas, Social and Health Care and Crafts and Design have been awarded the team learning certificate of Tiimiakatemia Global (Certified Tiimiakatemia® Education Program).
Osaajaverstas
Time to get creative!
Osaajaverstas is a completely new way of learning, where students can combine studies and work in their local area. In four different locations in the South Karelian area, Osaajaverstas takes education and business services that meet the skills needs of industry off our campuses.
Learning takes place in work-based projects and in close cooperation with working life, using the team learning model. Osaajaverstas is the learning environment, a space suitable for team learning, which serves as a home base for student teams. The space provides a concrete place that supports social cohesion and is easy to come to.
