Vocational Advisory Boards for Fields of Vocational Education and Training

There are 17 vocational advisory boards for fields of vocational education and training and one Sampo advisory board. They include representatives from working life, the vocational institute and students.

The advisory boards introduce knowledge and working-life oriented views to e.g. the following:

• developing on-the-job learning and vocational skills demonstration
• developing the syllabus
• planning the supply of education
• quality improvement
• information about working life and local regional development

In addition, the advisory boards launch initiatives and make statements about significant issues concerning vocational education and training.
